Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant - Lanarkshire

Change Public Practice are working with an independent tax and business advisory accountancy firm in the Lanarkshire area to assist them in the recruitment of a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant. This opportunity can offer the successful individual a fantastic career path with the strong potential for future progression and development within the business.

This independent practice is based in the South Lanarkshire area and they are rapidly growing and require a Part-Qualified or Newly-Qualified Accountant to assist with their ambitious growth plans. You will be given the opportunity to work with a wide variety of client industries ranging from sole traders up to larger SME clients under the audit threshold. This role will involve the full accounts preparation cycle, preparing VAT returns, bookkeeping responsibilities and other general accountancy responsibilities.

The ideal person will have the following:
· Must be actively studying towards gaining, or newly achieved a CA qualification i.e. ACCA
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an Accountancy role in a similar Accountancy firm environment
· Must have strong accounts preparation experience and ability to take the accounts through to completion
