JOB DESCRIPTION
The FATCA Analyst will:
Participate in the review, validation, and processing of all Tax (W-8 Series and W-9) forms ensuring clients are FATCA classified using the Global tax validation tool
Monitor the client on-boarding process to ensure that valid tax documents are received, validated and applied to all products and source systems
Perform Tax validation tool testing of FATCA regulations and participate in related system modifications as it relates to Tax reporting
Identify any inconsistencies/gaps in client information and identify US indicia
Request additional information to resolve issues to cure US indicia and review accounts for Internal Quality Assurance
Oversee enhanced review of accounts to ensure all are FATCA compliant
Adhere to internal controls, compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Bank and regulatory standards, policies and practices and to report/correct control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational defects
Promote effective delivery of services to maximize accuracy, timeliness, consistency and cost effectiveness
REQUIRED SKILLS
Well-developed written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
