JOB DESCRIPTION
The Payroll Tax Analyst will:
Assist with internal, external, and government audits
Assist Payroll Tax Team in document management (knowledge capital, SOP?s, work instructions)
Research and resolve Payroll Tax Notices (P&I)
Perform compliance and year end reporting
Perform Periodic Tax Reconciliation
Assist in the development of metrics from tax audits and tax notices to identify trends and drive process improvements
Prepare and submit amended tax returns, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance
Participate in and support departmental initiatives
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of Payroll experience
High School Diploma / GED
Experience working on Payroll Tax related projects
Working knowledge of an ERP system
Experience with BSI / Tax Factory
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Taxation
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
Working knowledge of ADP Tax Reconciliation
Working knowledge of SAP
