Main responsibilities:

As a Manager or Senior Manager within Grant Thornton’s Real Estate function, you will undertake a tax advisory led position and you will advise on our clients’ tax transactions and due diligence projects. Our team have expertise across transactions, capital allowances, stamp duty, capital gains and you will add to these skills.

With a focus on real estate tax transactions, your role will include:

Tax planning, structuring and due diligence projects.
Develops and builds upon client relationships and has a clear and detailed understanding of the business and client expectations
Participate and lead in business development initiatives and proposal activity
Strong project management skills. You will lead client relationships and coordinate delivery work with wider tax, audit and advisory teams to deliver and Acts as a first point of contact on specific projects for any queries from the business.
Demonstrates the ability to analyse potential solutions and make recommendations accordingly.
Accurately interprets advice obtained from other specialists and questions where required.
Presents solutions to increasingly complex technical issues.
Demonstrates an awareness of technical risk through well supported research.
Possess a high quality of written tax reports with minimal input from Directors and Partners.

Education, experience and qualifications:

you'll have gained experience working within a professional services environment (ideally within a Real Estate tax transactional focused position)
you’ll possess working knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation (in-bound and out-bound tax issues)
you’ll have achieved your ACA/CTA qualification
you’ll have reviewed work and supervised staff in a tax environment
you’ll possess leadership and mentoring capability and be able to lead and coach junior staff with a commitment to their development
