Your New Job
Working closely with the group's senior management team, you will play a key role in providing specialist Transfer Pricing advice and support to a range of internal and external stakeholders, across a multitude of transactions and subsidiaries. Working with a global team on cross-border issues, you will be responsible for:
* Transfer pricing policies oversight for key business units including review of new transactions and period reviews of existing arrangements applicable to those business units
* Oversight and involvement in preparation of transfer pricing documentation including assistance with preparation of functional analysis and benchmarking for the various businesses in key jurisdictions
* Communication and liaison with other members of the transfer pricing and broader Tax teams on new transactions involving cross border dealings
* General transfer pricing research including analysis of recent cases, legislation and government announcements, especially in relation to investment banking activities
* Liaising with external advisers where appropriate
* Assistance with responding to revenue authority queries where required in audit and review situations.
* Working with Finance teams to ensure effective application of transfer pricing policies
Why You're Suitable
You are likely to succeed in this role if you fit the following profile:
* Proven, solid TP advisory experience in banking or FS environment
* Track record managing key senior/executive stakeholders, and managing more junior members of staff
* Solid financial accounting knowledge (GAAP, IFRS etc)
* Superb technical skill set, as well as an understanding of process change and system improvement
* Strong commercial skills and influencing ability- translating complex tax advice into simple messages
