Mixed Tax Semi Senior (Part Time), Manchester

Due to the retirement of a long serving member of staff, this long established independent firm of accountants, based in Manchester City Centre, seek an experienced Mixed Tax Semi Senior. Working approximately 20 hours a week (which can be either 3 full days or 4 or 5 shorter days to suit the successful candidate) the role will require experience of tax compliance especially in personal tax and some exposure to IHT / CGT and corporation tax would also be desirable. The role involves servicing a varied portfolio of private individuals, contractors and OMB’s / their directors, and the successful candidate will need to be able to deal effectively with clients. This role is likely to suit candidates with a background from a regional or local firm and it represents a challenging and interesting opportunity for someone who doesn’t feel the need for a structured promotion path. ATT / CTA candidates will be well placed as will those who are “qualified by experience”.
