Partner / Director - Operational Tax Technology (Europe-wide)

Our client is a leading global advisory firm with a well established and successful European tax technology practice, offering large-end multinational clients consulting and implementation services in the tax domain.

An exciting role has been created for a senior level consultant, up to Partner level, to take a lead role on developing the service line for SAP based analytical tools for the tax, VAT and transfer pricing area. We are searching for SAP Technical / Functional experts with configurations experience and knowledge of the BW module.

Key aspects of the opportunity will be taking a leadership and managerial role in advising CFO / FDs / Heads of Tax on bespoke IT solutions, particularly around the VAT and operational transfer pricing area. This will take the client from initial advice, proposal stages, and leading to managing implementation projects for SAP add-on solutions.

We are searching for candidates with some of the following / combination of areas of experience:

- SAP Technical & Functional experience
- FICO / MM / SD module experience design and customisation
- BSET table set-up knowledge
- SAP Configuration project experience
- BW and analytical tools experience

A knowledge of the domain area of tax would be an advantage, but not essential. In addition, it is desirable that experience has been gained in a consulting environment, although industry experience and backgrounds will be considered. You will need to have a very strong commercial awareness and being able to display hands-on experience of SAP implementation projects, working with large-end multinational clients. People and project management experience is also desirable.
