Principal Accountant (Interim), North Manchester

Your new company

I am working exclusively with a registered Social Housing Provider in the North Manchester area, which is looking to recruit a fixed term principal accountant. Your new role
You will work alongside other principal accountants to ensure that team targets and objectives are met. This is a front facing role therefore, communication skills are key as you will be working alongside and providing support to a number of different budget holders. The core responsibilities include, monitoring and forecasting of revenue & capital budgets, accurate preparation and reconciliation of balances for production of final accounts as well management accounting responsibilities.

What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with previous experience of financial and management accounting, ideally within a Housing Association or Public Sector environment. You will have good communication skills and sound technical accounting skills, the ability to prepare budget estimates and meeting deadlines.
