Permanent Opportunity, Mixed Tax, Near Glasgow

This independent firm of chartered accountants offer a wide range of services including accounts, audit, taxation and advisory. They are currently in the market for a Tax Manager / Assistant Manager or an experienced Senior / Supervisor to join their office, just outside of Glasgow.
Your new role
Within this mixed tax role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and acting as the main point of contact for the client. You will be driven to assist and commit to long-term growth plans, working closely with the Partner. You will be responsible for overseeing the annual compliance cycle on your portfolio; reviewing tax returns, correspondence and advice drafted by more junior members of the team; maximising advisory opportunities from your portfolio of clients and dealing with ad hoc advisory and planning issues as they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working within mixed tax or you will have a purely Corporate Tax background. Strong client handling skills coupled with the ability to develop good relationships are a must. A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CTA or ATT is preferred.
