Associate Director, Grant Thornton, London

We are looking for an ambitious and driven leader to play a pivotal role in our award-winning Transfer Pricing practice, which aims to double in size in the next four years. You will already be a strong senior manager or associate director.

Our work covers the whole transfer pricing cycle, which we call “Plan-implement-defend-update”. We work with clients from the FTSE 100 to dynamic entrepreneurial businesses. Our practice includes thin capitalisation/ interest and also tax reputation/ 'BEPS' work, which links to a range of our other offerings including: international tax, tax reassurance, indirect tax and innovation consulting.
Job Description:

An Associate Director must demonstrate depth of technical knowledge in own service area and apply this knowledge to develop solutions to complex technical issues. Can manage a team dealing with complex and demanding assignments on a day to day basis.

Your role

Your role will be to drive sales from existing and new clients in the mid-market and ensure efficient and profitable delivery using new technology where appropriate. You will be a great “people person” with a track record of training and developing others, and will have the role of People Manager for managers and associates.

You will need to very quickly build up your internal network at Grant Thornton both in the UK and internationally, as well as exploit and develop your own (external) network of clients and targets.

Your experience

You will have strong experience in UK transfer pricing including a proven track record of selling and delivering projects for a variety of clients on time and on budget.
