A Big 4 Chartered Accountancy firm is looking for a Tax Director to join their rapidly developing transactions tax team and become partner, this role will be based in their Central London office.

This team is unique in having all transaction specialists in one place, this includes Corporate and Private Equity deal specialists, in addition to Restructuring and Fund/Management structuring specialists. This structure gives a unique development opportunity as team members have the option of experiencing a wide range of transaction related areas within the same team or specialising in one or more areas.

Clients are of all sizes in all industries and in this dynamic and fast-paced environment the successful candidate will work on acquisitions of small family-owned concerns to high profile newsworthy deals.

This team prides itself on their working flexibility, whether it involves working in various areas or in working from home.

Key Responsibilities

- High level management of the successful delivery of complex and demanding projects
- Quality of client service
- Operational responsibility for specialist projects or client accounts
- Leverage expertise to strategically build profitable revenue growth in specialist area or across the wider market
- Demonstrate strong negotiating skills

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Manage leads from other areas in the practice
- Build networks internally and externally for the team to leverage from
- Significant involvement in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and managing training and development of junior staff
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and an understanding of opportunities in the market to achieve growth
- The successful candidate must be ACA/CA/Tax inspector with full technical training course or have a Law qualification
- significant experience from a large practice in M&A tax or Private Equity/Funds
- Strong tax technical skills

The successful candidate will need to proactively maintain knowledge by keeping up to date of global developments and international tax concepts and issues to better advise clients.
