Global Mobility Technology / Development Manager
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a quickly expanding BIG 4 Tax Technology team within a wider Human Capital team. The Human Capital team has been extremely successful recently across its Mobility, Reward and Employment Tax functions and Tax Technology is a key component of their future growth. This role will primarily focus on assisting the group's STBV / globally mobile / expatriate focused business.
My client is looking for a Development Manager to work within the wider group's Mobility Technology team. The team comprises both IT and Tax professionals who work extensively with the wider Human Capital and Tax business teams and stakeholders at all levels.
My client develops, implements and supports with technology that assists employers and employees in relation to international assignments and business travel. This technology is both web-based and mobile.
Your responsibility will include but not limited to:
- Design, develop and test GMS applications in ASP.NET C# and SQL Server
- Be the technical point person for junior developers
- Process automation using Microsoft tools including MS Access and Excel
- Support the full suite of GMS applications - Link Enterprise, Global Equity Tracker and Business Traveller
- You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the products and to contribute to the testing strategy and documentation of the software
Candidates are expected to have at least 6 years of IT systems development experience and the ability to work with internal and external clients in the areas of Tax, HR and Global Mobility.
Essential Skills
· ASP.NET with C#
· SQL Server 2008 and above
· HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap, XML, XSD
· Working knowledge of test and defect management tools e.g. JIRA or Microsoft Test Manager
· Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including agilee methodologies
· Have excellent problem solving, analytic, people and organisational skills
· Have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
The following skills would also be an advantage:
· Mobile application testing experience
· Application and process knowledge of international assignment management
