Part-Qualified or Qualified Accounts Assistant, Glasgow

Change Public Practice are working with a Chartered Accountancy firm in Glasgow to assist them in the recruitment of a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accounts Assistant who have experience preparing accounts for Charity clients.

The Accountancy team is the second largest team after Audit in the business which offers an exciting and varied workload and client base, including the leading charity sector exposure.

This is a good solid Accounts Assistant role where the responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, full cycle accounts preparation and VAT and income tax responsibilities etc. For someone who is part-qualified i.e. ACCA / ICAS etc. there will be full study support on offer. This role is open also to newly qualified Accountants and the main criteria for both part- and newly- qualified professionals is to have previous charities experience. Previous experience working within a Public Practice environment is also essential for this position but accounts professionals coming from the charity sector will also be considered.
