Your new accountancy practice has 19 directors and 3 offices in the North west based in Manchester, Bolton and Lancaster. This firm has recently merged with another large independent practice meaning that they have a presence UK wide. This firm offers services in Accountancy, payroll, Audit, Tax and business advisory and operate a transparent culture with clear progression plans. The current corporate tax department within this firm consists of a Tax partner, one tax manager, a senior and two junior tax consultants.

Your new role
As a personal tax senior you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of clients predominantly of SME's and OMB's from Manchester and surrounding areas. You will be accountable for predominantly the full compliance cycle associated and ad-hoc advisory work linked. You will be accountable for all client and HMRC liaison in addition.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this post, you will have recent experience in managing a portfolio of Personal tax clients from within practice and ideally be part way through CTA or looking to study. In addition, you will be confident in liaising with clients and be driven and ambitious.

What you'll get in return
In return, you receive a competitive salary of up to £25k plus study support if required. You will also be entitled to 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
