Indirect Tax Technology, Interim Role, London

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax professional to develop or diversify their Tax competency offering. An understanding of systems and processes is needed however a professional that has had a strong compliance or advisory bias, but wishes to expand in the tax technology remit is also encouraged to explore this role.

Responsibilities Include:

* Undertaking global projects around Indirect Tax technology and process improvements: size and nature of individual projects
* Analysing tax requirements against current processes and systems and identifying issues and developing solutions.
* Preparing IT business requirements and working with IT teams to deliver software solutions.
* Analysing multi-jurisdictional Indirect Tax landscapes
* Developing and delivering guidance and training for both tax specialists and non-tax departments.
* Project management: analysing and preparing for GCC implementation
* Software upgrades

Favourable skills are:

* Indirect Tax technical - Tax qualification strongly preferred (ATT, CTA, etc), other experience considered.
* Demonstrable systems capability- ability to learn and understand systems capabilities and limitations needed.
* Strong Excel skills
* Process mapping experience
* Strong organisation skills essential
* Strong communication skills
* Big 4 experience is preferred.
