A five partner accountancy practice based in Sale. This firm has the technical expertise and specialist know-how to provide individual services and offer bespoke and discreet planning as and when the need arises. The corporate and indirect taxes team is made up of the partners and senior client relationship managers, as well as having a specialist individual tax team.
Your new role
Your new role as a personal tax compliance manager will involve managing your own portfolio of clients consisting predominantly of high net-worth individuals. You will be accountable for the self-assessment tax returns and liaising with clients and HMRC on a regular basis via email, telephone and face to face. Candidates that are looking to pick up advisory work will be in a position to do so on an ad-hoc basis, however, you will be responsible mainly for passing this on to the relevant partner for them to pick up.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have recent and relevant experience of managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients from within practice or HMRC. You will also ideally be CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA/ATT.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of between £30,000-£35,000 (dependent on experience) and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive the opportunity to work within a reputable independent firm in Sale that encourage internal promotion and organic growth.
