What will role involve?
You will support the corporate tax partner on high level corporate tax projects and team management.
Example of the work the corporate tax team gets involved with includes: M&A work including tax efficient structuring and due diligence corporate reorganisations including demergers and reconstructions; international tax, transfer pricing, double tax treaties, property taxation, including property development by UK and overseas companies.
Clients include;
The quality of the tax team and its client base is one the major selling points for this role and will further improve your technical ability. There is a high density of CTA qualified tax professionals in the team for you to call on and a lot of ex Big 4 members. The other “big sell” is the ability to advance far quicker then most of the firms that are currently recruiting right now.
What will this mean for your career?
The role is designed to take you to manager and the firm will provide you with the tools to make this happen. The ‘tools’ will include giving you exposure to some of the firms best clients to improve your technical and commercial skills, as well as an internal mentoring program that will allow you to learn and develop.
