UK Tax Manager Brand New Tax Manager Role Hertfordshire / Hemel Hempstead

Multinational business based in Hemel Hempstead, Herts who are looking to hire into a newly created Tax Manager.

This Manager role sits within a wider tax team - main HQ team are based in Europe and there is a Group Tax Manager ( Line Manager) and a VAT specialist who are based within another business unit in the South East. This person would have great visibility and autonomy to build a credible profile across the business, and is being hired with the view of succession planning for the future.

The role is mixed compliance and reporting for the UK, a big 4 firm currently do the returns, but the business may look at bringing this in house. There is exposure to other taxes and there is significant scope for running projects and being involved in planning and advisory work.

The remuneration band is competitive topped off with a 15% bonus, 25 days annual leave, a double matched pension scheme, medical and life assurance.
