This an a broad advisory role with responsibility for the day-to-day working of all aspects of Employment Tax (Domestic, Expats and Share Schemes). Supporting and reporting to the firm's Head of Employment Tax (and with multiple other stakeholders across the Legal, Finance and HR teams) the role covers, compliance, governance , planning and advisory matters for all forms of expatriate, employment tax and Share scheme administration / policy issues for the UK firm and other associated employing companies.

Example tasks to be completed within this role may be but not limited to the following

* Income Tax relating to PAYE matters
* Income Tax relating to UK tax sourcing requirements
* Income tax relating to Modified PAYE Schemes
* National Insurance and international Social Security Agreements where applicable to the UK
* National Insurance relating to Modified NIC Schemes
* All employment related taxes relating to Settlement Agreements, Discovery Declarations, HMRC Clearance Requests and Foreign Service Relief applications
* Payroll Tax (where applicable in any UK tax year)
* Ensuring day to day governance and advisory requirement within the HR Department to ensure tax compliance processes are developed and maintained with internal HR teams aware of roles and responsibilities for overall compliance based processes
* Assisting with mitigation of risk in relation to employment tax, expatriate tax and share scheme tax compliances processes
* Assist in development of employment and expatriate tax strategies for the London office relating to HMRC guidance and legislative updates
* In-house advisory for employment and expatriate tax matters to HR Business Partners, other relevant internal HR teams, London business lines and other company international offices where related to UK tax compliance matters
* Preparation of all employment tax related Annual Returns and statutory reporting to HMRC, including (but not limited to) PAYE Settlement Agreement, P11D / P11D(B) Return, Form 42 Share Scheme Return, Appendix 4 Short Term Business Visitors Return, Annual Employer Return re Payroll PAYE / RTI compliance
* Ensuring a good working relationship is maintained with HMRC in relation to employment and expatriate tax matters to assist in maintaining the low risk rating currently assigned to the firm by HMRC
* Advise and assist with the policy and procedure for short term business visitors, including tracking of STBV to the UK, understanding of HM Revenue & Customs statutory regulations, preparation of statutory reporting, tax treaty claims, governance review of preparatory work undertaken by International Mobility and HR Services Teams relating to STBV reporting
* Assist with facilitating the Company's relationship with external tax service providers in respect of expatriate personal taxation matters to ensure quality of service provision and adherence with Terms of Engagement and cost control guidelines
* Providing assistance to manage all company share schemes for the UK Group companies, including employee share offers, employee free shares plans and share option awards
* Advising on employee and employer tax obligations within London relating to Share Schemes
