Head of Indirect Tax, FTSE 250, London

A new role has been created in this newly restructured tax team, working for a FTSE 250 Group based in Central London. Reporting directly to the VP of Tax & Treasury so will have responsibility for the indirect tax function including hiring and managing an Indirect Tax Manager to support you.

Key responsibilities include defining and implementing Indirect Tax policy and strategy globally, including technology and process initiatives, business transformation projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and influencing the business to ensure VAT efficiencies are maintained. You will also take ownership of outsourcing indirect tax compliance and manage the relationship going forward.

The successful candidate will be operating at Senior Manager/Director level and be able to demonstrate the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at various levels. This is an exciting time to join the team, and they are looking for proactive, driven individuals who will shape the tax function in the coming years.
