What you'll be doing:
Today's global marketplace is constantly changing and evolving, but dynamic businesses are agile, adapting to the environment. As part of the Trust Tax Team you will manage the day to day portfolio of trust clients:
you’ll builds good rapport with trustees and their other advisors and develops a clear understanding of trusts objectives and expectation
you’ll provides a high level of client service
you’ll provide general support to clients in the provision of trust advice
you’ll regularly attends meetings; when appropriate, answering client queries, taking minutes and proactively following up on agreed actions
you’ll be responsible for a client allocation of trusts and provides general support to clients in the provision of tax advice
you’ll prepares trustees accounts, tax returns and computations in conjunction with agreed timescales; ensuring the efficient and risk managed delivery of compliance
you’ll support Managers on tax planning and other ad-hoc projects
you’ll be responsible for the prepare an inheritance tax accounts in preparation for review
you’ll manage work-in-progress to ensure recoverability targets can be met
you’ll demonstrate an awareness of the firm's risk management procedure.
Education, experience and qualifications:
you'll be studying towards AAT, ATT or STEP foundation
you’ll have a good knowledge of technical and professional standards
you’ll be able to identify and propose solutions to complex issues
