Indirect tax Director - In House - Budapest

Our Multinational client is a leader in the Tech Industry and this is a great opportunity to join a New position within a New team based in Hungary.

a)Provide commercially focused Indirect Tax advice across Europe ensuring business is aware of the indirect tax implications on their business, covering EU Supply Center

b)Identify VAT risk within the business and advice on appropriately managing tax risk which is aligned with current Indirect Tax developments and practice

c)Support the development of Indirect Tax compliance functionality and assist with the review and maintenance of the Indirect Tax compliance process

d)Proactively identify and implement Indirect Tax cash flow and cash management strategies.

f)Monitor and manage Indirect Tax legislation developments

i)Dealing with external advisers, consultants, taxation authorities and joint venture partners

General Experience Requirement for candidates:

*8+ year's Indirect Tax work experience within Big 4 or industry with extensive knowledge of Indirect Taxes across the EU or Globally, with good knowledge of international indirect tax
*Working knowledge of Indirect Tax compliance processes, from data extraction to return submission
