The Company
Our client is a leading, independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Swansea. They have beautiful modern premises in SA1 and pride themselves in being a dynamic friendly firm with a very loyal but growing South Wales clientbase. They embrace technology and have many clients using Xero and cloud-based technology.

The Role

Coming in as a Client Manager you will report to Director level, have Technicians reporting into you and have a broad spectrum of clients to look after. The role is very client and accounts focused with an audit content (audit experience though is not necessary) - plus some involvement in personal and partnership tax (not corporate tax as there is a separate corporate tax team). You will have plenty of client contact, some face to face and lots over telephone and email.

They have very low staff turnover within the firm, they work hard on succession planning and would see this person as having Directorship potential there if they wanted it longer term. They are very open on background - 3 of the 5 Directors are ex Big 4, 2 have strong smaller firm backgrounds - both types of background appeal. The vacancy has arisen as one of their part-time Client Managers is leaving to work for a client - they hope to replace her with a full-timer.
