VAT Manager - Boutique company

The company are a fresh and vibrant firm with a welcoming, sociable and down to earth culture. They currently rely on the services of a VAT Consultant but are now looking to bring on board someone who could help build and carve out their VAT team longer term.

With a client base that mainly consists of HNW individuals, OMBs and smaller companies in creative sectors, this is a busy, diverse and highly profitable business that would suit someone with anywhere from 3 to 10 years experience in VAT or equivalent. The culture of the business is young, energetic and with a positive attitude to work life balance. There's around 40 people in the firm altogether of which 8 specialise in corporate and private client tax. The role on offer is quite simple - to inherit a portfolio of VAT work, continue to provide a first class service whilst looking to grow the client base where possible. This will likely include hiring someone more junior to assist you ASAP.

We're keen to hear from people who are ACA, CTA qualified or equivalent with experience in a broad VAT role in a professional services firm. You might be someone recently qualified looking to fast track your career or alternatively a more experienced Manager looking for a more relaxed and family friendly culture.
