Your new accountancy practice has 19 directors and 3 offices in the North west based in Manchester, Bolton and Lancaster. This firm has recently merged with another large independent practice meaning that they have a presence UK wide. This firm offers services in Accountancy, payroll, Audit, Tax and business advisory and operate a transparent culture with clear progression plans.
Your new role
Your new role as a Personal Tax Manager will involve managing your own portfolio of high net-worth individuals, company directors, pensioners and a small amount of trust and estates clients. You will have sole responsibility for the general compliance for this portfolio of clients and ad-hoc advisory and tax planning work dependent on the experience level of the candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this job, you will be experienced in personal tax from within an accountancy practice and operating at a managerial level. You will also ideally be CTA qualified and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA and be willing to commute to Manchester city centre.
What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience and 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. Within this large and reputable independent firm, you will also receive the option to work flexibly/ part time and be enrolled into a competitive benefits package.
