VAT and Tax Manager role
Your new company
Our client, a large, successful multi-sited operation, based in North Lincolnshire, commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Lincoln, and Hull, is looking to recruit to the job of Indirect Tax Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Tax, your role will be to provide technical support to the business, ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation and provide process improvements in line with the group's tax strategy. This will include UK and some international VAT advice, filing VAT returns, aggregates levy, landfill tax and CCL returns. In addition you will set up indirect tax compliance and governance processes and be instrumental in educating the business in this area.
What you'll need to succeed
You may be professionally qualified in accountancy (ACA, CA, ACCA) or hold a tax qualification, CTA or may just have worked in Practice or Industry and be highly experienced in this field. You will have a quick and enquiring mind with proven business partnering skills and the ability to independently identify and control diverse issues across indirect taxes.
