Indirect Tax Technology Senior Manager - In House - London

Our leading client is setting up a tax team in London for the first time, if you are an Indirect Tax senior manager/Director or Partner level working in a Big 4 firm/ Multinational and want to explore this opportunity, please apply.

Specific Experience for Technology Position:
*Working knowledge of ERP systems and Indirect tax technology solution areas (with Oracle R12 experience a distinct advantage) and solutions within Big 4 or industry with a strong IT focus
*Excellent computer literacy skills, including advanced Excel skills, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and interest in understanding and resolving systems issues

Technology Job Responsibilities

a)Provide tax technology and IT systems development solutions focused on managing European Indirect Taxes.

b)Manage implementation roll outs for VAT processes, risk management and VAT automation.

c)Identify systems process improvement opportunities for existing processes and controls and drive positive change

d)Assist with review and maintenance of indirect tax compliance process controls and provide VAT Technology guidance for the business and tax teams

e)Participate in ERP & IT structure design and initiate system strategy planning and follow through to deployments based on project needs

Manage & monitor Tax Automation Functions in ERP, such as VAT Codes, and Indirect Tax reporting functions
