Your new role
Thorough and proven knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - preferably but not essentially in the public sector.
creating financial statements and successfully managing year-end audit processes.
General Ledger, month end and year end close, management and reporting.
Strong management skills.
critiquing reports and analysis on the financial performance of the business and presenting the key facts and intelligence to senior managers.
Ability to take a broad based view of issues, events and activities and a perception of their longer term impact or wider implications.
Able to organise and share information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of public sector finance.
