A perfect role for a talented Part Qualified ACCA/ACA candidate, or an AAT Finalist, as a prestigious firm based in Central London are looking to add a skilled Audit Semi Senior to their team. The firm are renowned for placing an emphasis on development and progression, and so could provide an ideal opportunity for you to build a career with one of the very best firms in the city

The successful candidate will be joining the firms well established Audit team, working on a large and varied portfolio of clients, liaising with both domestic and international clients alongside supporting the senior members of the team.

Duties and Responsibilities


● Audit of financial statements by way of sample testing and analytical review
● Review of audit and accounts work undertaken by junior members of the team
● Visiting client’s premises to carry out audit work where necessary
● Liaising with clients to carry out work including audit and accounting queries
● Performing an advisory role to a portfolio of clients
● Working solely or as part of a team on audits and accounts preparation assignments in respect of small, medium and large companies
● Preparation of statutory financial statements from trial balance or primary records
● Preparation of working papers to support audit work and financial statements including lead schedules, checklists, and statutory reviews
● Meeting both internal and external deadlines
● Spending approximately 80% of your time at the London office
● Reporting on a regular basis to Managers and Directors for auditing and accounting

The Ideal Candidate


● Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or an AAT finalist with exemptions
● At least two years' experience in public practice, working with corporate clients in a mixed audit and accountancy role
● Experience of planning and completing audit and accounts preparation assignments
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Excellent attention to detail
● Ability to manage own tasks, and to work under pressure to tight deadlines
● Strong IT skills (CaseWare experience being an advantage)
