As one of the Big 4, my client is seeking a self-starting, ambitious individual to take on the role of Senior Tax Manager within their Gatwick office, working with OMB's and SME's, developing business in the South East.

The Senior Tax Manager role within this Big 4 firm offers the chance to work in a challenging environment as well as develop your credibility and build relationships with their senior stakeholders. The firm's client base is fast growing and dynamic and includes a number of the largest OMB's and SME's based in the South East of England. This predominantly advisory role also brings the opportunity to work from home and flexible working hours as well as excellent career development prospects.

Your new role
The primary objective of your role will be to work with senior members of the South East team to grow the Privately Owned Business practice, with a particular focus on serving and building the Gatwick office client base. As Corporate Tax Senior Manager, your role will be advisory and business development focused. You will work with owner managed SME's in the South East, mainly with turnovers in the range £5m to £50m. Leading and managing the team will be a prominent aspect of your job.

What you'll need to succeed
As Tax Senior Manager, ideally you will have experience in both Corporate and Private Client Tax. Most likely ACA or CTA qualified, you will need proven advisory skills related to OMB's including share schemes, transactional work and R&D tax. Business development skills will be necessary as well as the ability to work collaboratively with your team and senior members of staff.
