Your new accountancy practice based in Preston is a highly successful local firm renowned for the quality of service and advice that it provides to clients, with a wide ranging client base of corporate clients and owner-managed businesses, alongside a significant personal and private client tax base. Their current team is currently made up of 5 directors and 23 staff and are recruiting into this mixed tax job due to expansion.

Your new job role
As a Mixed Tax Senior you will be responsible for the delivery of their compliance service's to both corporate and personal tax clients, delivering to expectations, responding quickly to clients and working to deadlines. The role will include the preparation of both personal and corporate Tax Returns, including tagging and iXBRL filing. You will be expected to assist in the preparation of P11D forms and be able to review tax and capital allowance computations prepared initially by our accounts team. As part of delivering the compliance service for this accountancy practice, you will be required to deal with HMRC correspondence and communicate directly with clients, building relationships and gaining their trust.

What you'll need to succeed
A mixed background in both a corporate and personal tax job is essential, ideally with at least 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment preparing both personal and corporate Tax Returns. A good working knowledge of Capital Gains Tax, PAYE and VAT is desirable and candidates will be ATT qualified and studying or looking to study towards their CTA.

What you'll get in return
