National Tax Partner (National Tax office)

The role is ideally suited to an individual who is CTA/ACA qualified, and is incredibly strong at clearly communicating complex technical issues both written and verbally.

You will be managing a team of 4 tax consultants, a technology manager and 2 administrators and will be preparing the annually budget for the National Tax office and the firms tax technology and information budget.

As a senior hire, you will be instrumental at working with the business change team to develop systems, tools and software to minimise risk, managing risk through running the firms tax peer reviews, sharing tax information and training across Private Client and Business Tax.

A key portion of the role is external and internal stakeholder management and therefore commercial skills, strong influencing skill and clear communicating is a must to represent the firm effectively.

You will chair the National Tax conference sub-committee, attend an arrange of Tax seminars e.g. TBS Brexit Group, International Tax Business Tax Group, off shore Private Tax Group to name a few.

You will be instrumental and additive to the Making Tax Digital Group, National Tax strategy committee, Tax Planning sub-committee, AML Steering Group, once again to name a few. Underpinning all this, is your public relations and media work and being the main tax commentator for the firm.

Experience of Corporate Tax/Business Tax for whether OMB or Large Listed Group is business critical whilst appreciating the important of Private Client technical changes is advantageous.
