A FTSE 250 business services organisation are looking for a Tax Accountant. Mainly operating across northern Europe, the business is a market leader in most of the countries in which it operates. After implementing a successful new business strategy, the company is undergoing an exciting period of development and growth. To cope with demand, the company have launched a new recruitment drive.

Your new role
As the UK Tax Accountant, you will be an important member of the head office team. Reporting to the Group Tax & Treasury Director, your main responsibility will be the preparation and submission of UK tax computations together with managing the UK SAO processes. You will also gain exposure to VAT and employment taxes, though these will only make up a small portion of your role. You will liaise with other parts of the business, sometimes across international lines, meaning that you must be professional and able to communicate your ideas clearly. Project work will also take up part of your time, either working as part of a team, or leading the project when required.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) and have tax experience in either a Top 20 practice or in a large commercial organisation. You will have strong technical and personal qualities, and pristine corporation tax compliance skills. Up to date knowledge of IFRS is crucial.
