The team is led by a well-respected and well liked leadership team who are keen to help bring in a number of directors (with potential) to further assist with the double digit growth that the practice has enjoyed. Whilst the team advises FTSE 100's, FS firms and the wider market growth has been especially notable within the AIM listed business / FTSE 250 space. As such this opportunity would suit an experienced Reward SM/D looking to further support the Legal, Advisory (including corporate finance) and Tax functions to deliver consolidated advisory solutions to the client base.

Because of the structure of this business there is huge, unparalleled opportunity to progress without structural or other blocks to development and success. Whether the candidate is keen on growing the firms strength within the FTSE 250 space or indeed keen to add larger corporate or FS work to the teams portfolio a good fit with the team is a must , though likely to be another reason that one would join this team!

About the Role:

You will:

Be working with other teams (for example, private client, M&A, Corporate Finance) to deliver integrated advice to clients in relation to their business issues relating to Executive and wider remuneration.

Working closely with other members of the local and national Firm's management team to ensure that opportunities are effectively shared around the people and growth agenda

Developing the existing local team and helping to identify areas in which there are opportunities to strengthen the local teams with new resource(s) - the business is looking to grow!

Leading and managing client projects such as designing share plans, advising on the structuring of tax efficient management incentive plans, global incentive plan reviews or advising on the implications of corporate events on existing arrangements.

Be helping to develop innovative solutions and opportunities for clients, and being part of initiatives to bring those solutions to market.

Advising on technical issues and supporting the team's knowledge management in keeping up to date with recent and upcoming legislation and trends.

About You:

You will be a solicitor or likely CTA or ACA qualified with experience gained in the share plans team of a large accounting, consulting or law firm. Indeed you may have worked for several of these employers.

You will have a proven track record of technical expertise and building a client base of, where possible, recurring work.

You will have Reward and Share Plan experience with listed/ unlisted and UK / global share plans work.

You will have gained experience of advising on plan design, drafting plan documents and advising on the tax, legal aspects of share plans and other employee incentives arrangements including experience of advising on the incentive aspects of M&A transactions. This would ideally include experience of private equity arrangements.

You will have a proven track record of being able to develop effective teams across a geography.
