Energy Sector – Tax Manager – up to £70k

Nebula Partners are working with a highly successful tax group focussing on the Energy sector within a Big 4 firm. Your role will focus on advisory work including advising on international tax and M&A issues. The team you will be part of focuses on the energy & natural resources sector, working with FTSE 100 companies, inbound investors, oil majors and independents.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing tax advisory services to a variety of clients.
• Managing the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice to a variety of clients involving tax due diligence, structuring, international and other advisory work.
• Liaising with colleagues to provide a co-ordinated service to clients.
• Reviewing corporate tax computations, managing the compliance process and providing tax specialist support to audits for clients under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Helping to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target and client companies on technical issues to indemnify new solutions.
• Ensuring clients are kept up to date on developments within the corporate tax world that may affect their businesses.
To succeed in this high profile role, you will require strong knowledge and understanding of UK corporate tax legislation. Knowledge of working within the energy and natural resources sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
