Job Description:

This role supports clients with a wide range of services in preparing their annual accounts and statutory audit packs. Our clients are diverse ranging from subsidiaries of international groups, businesses of High Net Worth Individuals to dynamic owner managed businesses.

you’ll proactively identify client needs that can be satisfied from the firm’s services and inform senior leaders.
you’ll be involved in accounts production work with a variety of clients
you'll take responsibility for wide client management and liaison on smaller less complex assignments.
you'll be able to work independently and effectively on-site at client premises, overseeing all aspect of fieldwork and completion.
you’ll address, discuss and advance conclusion in respect of technical issues identified during the course of the assignment.
you’ll maintain an understanding of UK GAAP and understand each client’s principal account policies, challenging current approaches and making recommendations to improve robustness and efficiency where necessary.
you’ll delegate work to other members of the team, ensuring associates understand their responsibilities and have received appropriate on-the-job training/coaching.
you’ll actively monitor budgets and timeframes on all assignments, taking responsibility for overall delivery.
you’ll consistently achieve deadlines and understand the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service.
you’ll regularly liaise with tax departments to do sure effective delivery of tax advice and computations.

Education, experience and qualifications:

you'll be ACCA or ACA qualified.
you'll have experience of developing good working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
you'll demonstrate a strong financial accounting background.
you’ll have experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email and computerised accountancy packages.
You’ll ideally have experience of using Caseware or similar accounts production software
