Audit and Accounts Manager - Leading West End Firm

An excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a London based professional services firm with an excellent reputation in a friendly and welcoming environment, as a Leading West End firm of Chartered Accountants are looking for an Audit and Accounts manager to join their team.

The main purpose of the role will be to work closely alongside the firm’s Partners, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and delivering the outstanding service which the firm is renowned for. The main duties of this position are;

● Ownership and management of a dedicated client portfolio across various sectors
● Managing the audit team, and running the process from start to end, ensuring the team are providing audits to the firms outstanding standards
● Reviewing of audit files to ensure compliance with the firm's audit methodology
● Presentation of audit findings to the Partners
● Preparation and review of financial statements and consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK and International Accounting Standards
● Review of corporation tax computations and partnership tax returns
● Leading, developing and motivating a team of people, providing support and development through on the job coaching and appraisals
● Presenting accounts and audit findings at board meetings
● Control costs, meet reporting timetables, prepare key client reporting documentation
● Developing personal relationships with clients
● Working closely with the Partners to ensure quality of output and efficiency of all processes
● Opportunities for marketing and business development

The Ideal Candidate

● ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
● A strong background working within Accountancy Practice
● Strong technical capability
● A proven ability to lead, manage and develop a team
● Knowledge and experience of CCH and other accounting software will be beneficial
