Corporation Tax Supervisor - Top 30 Firm - Central London

AJ Chambers are currently working with a multi-award winning Top 30 Firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for a Corporate Tax Supervisor for their office located near London Barbican.

The Role

You will be responsible for the tax affairs of a varied portfolio of corporate clients from a broad range of industry sectors, including OMBs, entrepreneurial companies, larger corporates and multi-national groups.

Responsibilities will include;

● Overseeing and maintaining the Corporate Tax compliance service of a varied portfolio of corporate clients
● Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities for clients as they arise
● Review and prepare complex corporation tax returns and computations
● Assist Manager and Partners with a wide range of ad hoc advisory queries ranging from one off questions to larger project work
● Training and supervising junior staff
● Assisting with tax marketing

The Candidate

● CTA qualified with two to three years’ post-qualification corporate tax experience, alternatively QBE with significant experience and strong advisory skills gained in a similar role
● Detailed knowledge of all aspects of UK corporation tax and sound knowledge of other business taxes. Exposure to international tax issues, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and CFCs desirable
● Knowledge of and experience with Alphatax, CCH, Caseware and Digita desirable
● Excellent communication skills
● Effective time and task management skills
● Able to deal with people
● Prepared to work hard practically and academically
● Self-driven and motivated
● Excellent attention to detail
● Able to deal with confidential information professionally
