Some aspects of the role:

As well as working on your own portfolio you will be supporting the partner on advisory projects. As this is a managerial position your will also be responsible for supervising a number of junior staff which will include training/mentoring.

Review of corporation tax together with the preparation of returns on certain clients.

Sole responsibility for corporation tax on a number of clients (this includes the UK subsidiaries of part of a large overseas group - international issues, transfer pricing, deferred tax).

There is a large amount of consultancy work within the department (share restructuring, EMI’s etc) and you will have plenty of opportunity to work with the tax partner on the firms projects.
