Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, Remote/ Flexible Working

Simpson Booth are representing a leading professional services firm who are recruiting for a Tax Assistant Manager to join their tax practice on a Remote/Flexible working arrangement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a growing team, with good prospects for progression. This role can be worked from home or within the location specified by the individual.

Main Responsibilities

- Provision of tax planning and consultancy advice to a wide range of clients. This will mainly be UK tax focused but will also include some international tax work.

- Developing and building a relationships with clients such that additional opportunities to provide tax support can be identified.

- Overseeing the tax computation team in the delivery of compliance services.

- Working with the assurance team to undertake tax audit work as required.

- Supervising the work of more junior members of staff.

Qualifications and Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting (in particular tax accounting)

- Strong tax technical skills

- Experience of UK tax with some exposure to international tax issues

- Ideally CTA / ACA/ CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified

- Ability to work well in a team
