Your new role
You will be working within the finance team supporting two finance business partners who are responsible for the investment cost base. You will work closely with the finance business partners supporting with monthly and annual deliverables. You will apply your knowledge of accounting to produce reports, analyse data and meet business objectives. As well as supporting with BAU work you will be involved in a migration project.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a qualified accountant or studying towards an accountancy qualification. You will have experience of working within financial services and a proactive attitude to problem solving. To secure an interview you must have experience of financial analysis, strong excel skills and practical experience of month end activities. Experience using SAP is highly desirable. You should be immediately available or have a notice period of less than 4 weeks.
What you'll get in return
In return for your commitment to the role you will receive a 6 month contract with likely extension. You will also gain project experience opening the door for future opportunities. Throughout the contract you will be supported by a specialist Hays consultant who will help you find a new role after the contract has ended.
