Tax Senior - Top 60 Firm - North London

AJ Chambers have taken on an exciting new instruction from a Top 60 firm who are looking to recruit a Tax Senior for their office based in Finchley. Working within the firm’s Tax Compliance Team, you will complete compliance and advisory work and in return receive a competitive remuneration package with full study support for CTA. An ideal opportunity for someone in North London looking to escape their commute into the City

The Role

You will join the firm’s Tax Compliance Team, working alongside Managers to complete Tax returns and accounts.

Responsibilities will include;

● Completion of all aspects of a tax file
● Year-end tax returns, accounts and P11Ds
● Communicating with clients and HMRC
● Providing advisory services to clients to reduce their tax liability
● Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work

The Candidate

You will ideally;

● Have experience working in Personal Tax within a reputable practice
● Have experience managing, mentoring and reviewing the work of trainees and assistants
● Be ATT qualified. CTA qualification would be advantageous, but is not necessary
● Have excellent IT skills
● Be able to work efficiently, with the ability to meet the needs of clients to tight deadlines
● Be able to work on their own initiative, with excellent organisational and communication skills
