Your new company
This large independent firm of chartered accountants offer a wide range of services including accounts, audit, taxation and advisory. They are currently in the market for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join their Glasgow office

Your new role
Within this corporate tax role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, both local and international, working closely with the Partner and acting as a key point of contact for the client. You will be driven to assist and commit to long-term growth plans, working closely with the Partner group. You will be responsible for overseeing the annual compliance cycle on your portfolio; reviewing tax returns, correspondence and advice drafted by more junior members of the team; maximising advisory opportunities from your portfolio of clients and dealing with ad hoc advisory and planning issues as they arise.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have solid experience of working within corporate tax and you will have strong client handling skills, coupled with the ability to develop good relationships. In addition you will be able to delegate efficiently, review work and have the ability to encourage and foster development of the more junior members of the team. A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CTA or ATT is preferred.
