Tax Manager - Media and Entertainment Specialist - West End

My client are a Media and Entertainment Specialist Firm with a vibrant, friendly office located in a highly desirable area of the West End. They are looking for a Tax Manager to assist in providing excellent levels of service to their interesting, varied client base. The Role

This is a hands-on role in day to day management of the tax department, supporting directors and accounting staff in meeting the tax needs of the firm’s client base and assisting in development of services provided to clients

Responsibilities will include;

● Monitoring and reviewing compliance work completed in the department and assisting in meeting clients’ tax obligations where necessary
● Monitoring and assisting with HMRC enquiries
● Working with and managing the existing tax team
● Supporting Directors in all client tax matters, including reviewing tax affairs generally, undertaking any planning required in assisting clients to meet their tax obligations
● Assisting in modification of the firm’s procedures with regard to accommodating the rollout of Making Tax Digital
● Working with tax staff to analyse and manage risk

The Candidate

● CTA qualified or equivalent
● Good general tax practitioner with proven tax experience, including compliance and reporting
● Able to work efficiently to strict deadlines
● Experience dealing with HMRC enquiries
● Familiarity with international/ offshore tax issues and planning opportunities
