Partner Designate, Sandison Lang, Tonbridge

We are delighted to be partnering with Sandison Lang in the appointment of a new Partner Designate. Sandison Lang are a successful, independent accountancy practice who specialise in the medical sector helping medical practices, doctors, GPs and dentists by providing a full range of accountancy and taxation services. A thriving practice with a current client caseload of approximately 3,000, they boast an impressive client retention rate as well as a high volume of referral work due to the nature of their specialist portfolio.

Your new role
A unique and exciting Partner Designate opportunity has arisen due to the impending retirement of an existing Senior Partner. You will take a lead role in the day to day management of the practice and will undertake responsibility for staff development and oversight, reviewing their work, managing existing and new business client portfolios together with strategic business planning. Whilst this is an already very profitable business, this role will see you play an integral part in the continued growth of the practice including identifying new client business opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be either an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a proven track record in a senior leadership role within Public Practice. You will be a technically strong finance professional with an excellent working knowledge of accounts production and personal tax work including compliance and tax planning advice. As this is a client facing position, you will have the ability to successfully manage and advise a large client portfolio through face to face meetings and correspondence, being empathetic to client needs. This role would suit a Senior Manager/Accountant looking to take the next step in their career or an existing Partner of a similar sized practice who may be seeking a fresh opportunity.
