They are looking for a business-orientated practice Accountant who is able to successfully win new Client work, take ownership of their portfolio and manage Client projects. Candidate Specification
The firm is ideally seeking to hire a Tax Specialist with the following attributes, experience and background: As part of succession planning, an Accountant with a focus on Tax would be actively encouraged to develop and ultimately lead the Tax Practice.
The successful Candidate may be seeking to join from another firm in order to achieve greater autonomy and faster progression or from a 'stand-alone’ Practice, seeking to benefit from the firms network and infrastructure. The individual would clearly have a demonstrable determination to build a Practice, matching the commercial ethos and ambitions of the firms Partner base. Able to successfully win new Client work and manage Client projects. Able to communicate well with internal Partner stakeholders and other staff members.
Skills and Experiences
Operating successfully within a small to medium sized firm of accountants - local firm / Top 20 - 60 / sole trader. Technical excellence a 'must’ (implicit) but may come in the form of many different types of functional expertise, generalist or specialty.

The successful Candidate will be a motivated individual keen to advance their career in a client-centered firm, where professional and personal skills will be valued.
