Corporate Tax Consultant
Our client a multi-discipline, market leading, professional service firm based in Central London, are currently looking for a new corporate tax consultant to join their award winning corporate tax team. A strong remuneration package and good career progression is available to the right candidate.
Job Role
The role will consist of entirely advisory work, where you will be in charge of your own portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for identifying and highlighting when your clients need assistance, as well as provide assistance to other members of your team. In addition you will be encouraged to exercise judgement to keep senior staff up to date.
Responsibilities
- Management of client portfolio, including managing WIP and billing and compliance deadlines
- Review of complex corporation tax computations
- Assist senior team members with complex tax advisory projects including acquisitions and disposals and international tax structuring
- Developing the tax practice procedures and policies and providing tax training to staff in other departments
- Preparation of tax advisory reports and technical memos including advising on transfer pricing, research and development tax credits and corporate transactions
- Mentoring and developing junior team members and assisting with their technical queries
The Candidate
- ACA qualified, CTA qualified
- Significant experience in corporate tax
- Some knowledge of tax advisory and project work, including international tax such as transfer pricing and permanent establishments (ideal but not essential)
- An appetite and enthusiasm to learn, along with excellent communication and team working skills are essential
