Your new accountancy firm is one of the world's largest and leading professional services organisations operating from over 158 countries. As a Big Four firm, this practice cater's for a wide variety of clients from Multinational organisation to owner managed businesses. This firm currently employs approximately 250 people across a number of locations in the UK and has a number of exciting and immediate opportunities for a Manager to work within Corporate Tax Compliance based in Manchester.
Your new role
Your new role as a Corporate Tax Compliance Manager will be to provide a range of compliance services to its corporate clients, preparing accounting and tax returns that help them to meet their statutory obligations.
This firms clients range from multinationals to smaller mid tier clients across a wide range of industry sectors, providing you with opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge. You will also be responsible for up-front scoping and engagement planning with clients , organisation of data collection approach, review and submission of tax accounting schedules, review and ultimate submission of corporation tax returns, have a high level of client contact and to organise, monitor and manage your own portfolio and work load.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate for this role, you will possess initiative and enthusiasm and will show the ability to work in and contribute to the team and will possess the personal skills needed to form successful relationships. You will be ACA or CTA qualified, with strong UK corporate tax skills, possess UK GAAP and have a developed client service ethos and can adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs. You will also be able to establish, build and maintain a good working relationship with key decision makers, including partners and senior client personnel and have the ability to help manage and build new business through referrals, networking and spotting client opportunities. Candidates will be effective at delegating and will be strong at coaching junior staff.
What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts, you will receive a salary of between £41,000-£55,000 (Dependent on experience) plus a market leading benefits package within an international and market leading accountancy firm. You will also receive the option to work flexibility and be given the option to work part time hours if required. This firm has the benefit of overseeing the end to end process of Tax returns and offer the opportunity to specialise in a specific industry sector if desired and offer the opportunity to get involved with large multinational organisations.
