Audit & Accounts Senior - Leading Independent Firm

AJ Chambers are currently searching for hardworking and ambitious individuals that are prepared to develop and progress their career with a leading independent firm. Our client is looking to fill an Audit & Accounts Senior position, giving the candidate the opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients across varied sectors.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of the audit plans and ensuring it addresses the audit objectives effectively
• Accounts preparation
• Work on a portfolio of varied sectors
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients
• Control all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
• Producing commercial management reports, specifically drafting sections of the report to management
• Able to identify audit risks and the correct audit strategy by participating in the audit planning and fraud discussion
• Actively participate in meetings, workshops and training

The ideal candidate;

• Newly qualified ACCA/ACA Qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience working on a varied range of clients
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to work well as a team, as well as individually
• Willing and able to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
• Significant IT skills
• Knowledge of CCH and ProAudit is ideal, not essential
