VAT Accountant 12 month contract (In-House), Manchester

VAT Accountant required for a 12 month FTC for a diverse business in Manchester paying £25,000 to £35,000

Your new company
Our client is a diverse and evolving manufacturing business and due to the promotion of the current incumbent we require a VAT Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract for a European focused role.


Your new job
Your new job will work with an established and talented VAT team and you will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT and statistical returns for the European VAT registrations as managed by the department. You will reconcile VAT and statistical returns to each other and the balance sheet and maintain records of all VAT obligations managed by the team.


What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have proven and practical experience of european VAT with an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment . You will be able to work on your own initiative but equally as part of a team and SAP knowledge would be an advantage


What you'll get in return
